With a new season ahead of us, ADE is conscious of the ever-changing environment for the coming year. With that in mind, we are committed to ensuring your studio and dancers have the best options for our next regional tour. Whether it be in person in a ballroom, ADE in your studio or our interactive Virtual event, ADE  is there for you and ready to bring you the best.

ADE SEASON LOYALTY - Any studio committed to attending an ADE 2020-2021 regional event, LIVE or Virtual will receive rebate offers exclusive to the studio for our 2021 Season Finale registration fees.. For more information contact us directly at support@adeontour.freshdesk.com

 

We created the following policy and options for your studio to offer flexibility and peace of mind.

ALL ADE Regional Events will be BOTH In-Person & Live Stream from the Venue!

Plan 1 - IN-PERSON

ADE will be planning all events, in-person, for the upcoming season. We will be limiting attendance, working with our venue partners to increase ballroom space and implementing health procedures and guidelines to be able to offer the safest environment for our attendees. Health & Safety Protocols can be found here below

Plan 2 - IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL (HYBRID)

We understand that some families in your studio might not yet feel comfortable attending the in-person workshop.

 

All of our in-person events will now have a virtual option!

 

This allows a dancer to take a class from home or at the studio. This option would also allow the dancers or studios to attend the virtual workshop to still come to the venue for the competition portion or choreography pieces of the event.

 

You can also split your studio for those who are comfortable in person and for those who wish to stay home for the classes and come back for competing with their groups and performance pieces.

 

The competition will occur in scheduled blocks to limit time spent with other dancers.

 

Improv Competition can also be done virtually!

Plan 3 - ALL VIRTUAL

ADE will also provide the full virtual option for any studio or dancer interested in hosting a virtual party at their studio. ADE will provide a (viewing kit with scholarship numbers and wristbands) for studios. Competition routines will be uploaded to our website and judged virtually. Awards ceremonies will be broadcast live following the competition.

REFUNDS​ / CREDITS / IN-STUDIO POLICY for 2021

Should government federal or state mandates restrict the event from being held live or situations make it illegal, impossible or inadvisable for an ADE event to be hosted live, ADE will move the entire event to a virtual platform at the virtual rate.

 

Studios and dancers may then choose the following options:

1. Studios and dancers who choose to attend the event virtually can be either credited or refunded for the difference within 2 weeks after the event date. Those choosing the credit option will receive a 15% credit bonus on their account. 

 

2. Transfer of credits to a future ADE event with a 15% credit bonus

 

3. Transfer of credits for an ADE In-studio - Intensive for large groups

 

4. Full refund within 14 business days

 

Any registrant who is unable to attend a live event due to Covid-19 related illness will receive a full refund.

A doctor’s note must be provided.

 

If a registrant chooses to withdraw completely other than illness, a refund will not be provided.

*ADE does offer single day convention options, however, single day participants are not eligible for scholarships. If participation in competition, dancer must be registered for the full weekend. Single day participants can register for either Saturday or Sunday.

WORKSHOP LEVELS

ADE offers two levels to choose from, with a third level in select cities. Levels may be combined for select classes.

  • Ages 5 and older are welcome to participate in classes.

  • Please select the appropriate level when registering -- choose a level that reflects your dancer’s age.

  • Once registered, dancers will not be permitted to switch levels.

 

ADE Faculty members are professional, working choreographers and teachers. All material is taught at a quick pace, yet in an encouraging environment. Our goal is to motivate and inspire each and every student at ADE.

Independent dancers and groups/studios welcome!

Dance Explorers - Minis

(4-8 years old)

This level is designed for dancers ages 5-7. Classes will be taught for the beginner dancer.
 

Juniors

(9-11 years old)

Classes will be taught for the beginner to intermediate dancer. We suggest a minimum of 2 years of dance training prior to the event.

Dancers should be knowledgeable of the "convention" class setting and well rounded in their dance education.

Teen & Seniors

(12 years old +)

Classes will be taught for the intermediate to advanced dancer. Movement will be given quickly and choreography is expected to be learned and performed without hesitation. Dancers should be knowledgeable of the "convention" class setting and well rounded in their dance education.

 

SPECIAL DISCOUNTS

COLLEGE RATES

ADE s proud to offer a discounted workshop rate of $175 per dancer for college students with valid college IDs.

Dancers applying the college discount must be registered for the Senior Room.

The college discount is only valid for dancers 18-25 years old.

OBSERVER BANDS

We love parents at ADE and are happy to offer

the opportunity for you to observe our classes! 

Observer bands can be purchased for the entire weekend. We do not offer single day options at this time. Though we would love to allow everyone in class, we must take into account the dancers' safety by allotting them proper space in the classroom. For this reason, we must limit the number of observer bands sold.


Pre-registration is recommended!

Observer Band for the whole weekend  $45

Observer Wristband Policy: 
Pre-registration is strongly suggested as observer bands may sell out. If still available, they will be sold at the door starting on Friday at early check-in. All observer bands are non-refundable and may not be transferred. ADE is not responsible for lost or stolen bands. You must be accompanying a dancer to observe (children five and under may observe free of charge). Noise level and activity should be kept to a minimum out of consideration for the faculty and dancers. No cell phones, talking, videotaping or note-taking permitted. ADE reserves the right to remove anyone who is disrupting the workshop or not following security directions. Please note: You do not need an observer band to enter ADE Competition, ADE Showcase or The Scholarship Ceremony. This band allows entrance into all ADE level classes.

STAY INFORMED!

Refunds: All registrations are non-refundable and only valid at a 2018-2019 location. No exceptions. 

Credits: On a case-by-case basis, registered participants who wish to withdraw prior to the workshop's start date due to illness or injury may do so if authenticated with an official doctor’s note. Participant will be credited the cost of the workshop to be used towards a future workshop produced by Artistic Dance Exchange, ADE less a $25 administrative fee. Credits are valid for one calendar year and cannot be extended for any other reason. 

Switching Cities: Registrants are allowed to transfer tuition from a regional city to another regional city in the same tour for a $10 administrative fee. Registrants are also responsible for any differences in tuition resulting from the switch. 

Wristband Policy: Registrants receive only one band for the convention. Wristbands may not be removed for the duration of the convention. Lost or removed bands require full repayment of registration fee. No refunds. No exceptions. 

Disclaimer: ADE staff reserves the right to remove any person (or persons) who presents potential harm, danger or disruption to himself or herself or anyone else while attending the event. Due to contractual obligations, ADE guarantees at least four (4) of the resident faculty in each city.  ADE faculty is subject to change.

What kind of payment do we accept?
Artistic Dance Exchange accepts Mastercard, Visa & Discover credit cards,  and checks and cash onsite for registrations smaller than 3 dancers. Registration is not complete until we have received your payment in full. Personal Checks will not be accepted 10 business days before the event date, no checks will be accepted onsite. Please do not mail cash or cashiers checks or money orders. Cash payments will be accepted onsite up to $1,500.  ADE is not responsible for check payments lost in the mail. All prices on the website reflect a 3.75% discount if paying via wire transfer or check.

HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

We hope you all have been keeping safe and healthy during this stressful time.

We would like to thank you for your continued support over the last three months with all the virtual events.

 

As we hear news of guidelines relaxing, our thoughts now turn to the future and we all are eager to start and celebrate dance. 

While we look forward to re-opening our live events, we as the ADE community also need to keep in mind the continued safety of our dancers and their families.

Our ADE family is working to re-structure our event schedules and class setups to ensure safety is the main priority for our dance families attending. 

Here below are the new protocols that our team is working on to provide both a stress-free and safe environment:

-Any attendee that has flu-like symptoms, we ask that you please not attend the event. 

-We encourage all attendees to practice frequent and proper handwashing as well as carrying their own hand sanitizers and disinfectants as they see fit. The CDC recommends this as one of the best practices to avoid transmission of the virus.

 

-Temperatures will be scanned via non-contact scanners at random at the beginning of each day.

 

REGISTRATION:

-Re-structure of our class schedules and assigning registration times and groups to avoid large crowds at the registration desk on check-in day.

Email notifications will be sent out a week before the event to each studio and independent participants.

DURING CLASSES:

-We will keep practicing social distance measures by lowering the class sizes in each age category and breaking down classes further into groups and rotations. Ballrooms will be marked with spacing and positions will be rotated throughout the class. More detailed information will be provided in the final welcome email

 

Not only is this safer but it will be extremely beneficial for the dancers as they will be getting more individualized attention with our faculty! 

 

-All guests/observers/dancers must wear a face mask when checking in and required in common areas. Observers must wear a face mask at all times if watching classes and during competitions. SPACE IS LIMITED for Observers in the classrooms.

-There will be no water stations in the ballrooms. We ask that attendees please bring disposable water bottles to class.

 

-Dancers need to wear a mask during classes and maintain distances via markers on the ballroom floors. 

-COMPETITION:

-Dressing room spaces will be assigned and expanded to as many locations as possible to help comply with social distancing. 

-Competition spectators: Seating will be spaced out with limited capacity. Separate and clearly marked points of entry and exit will be provided.

-All awards and scholarships will be awarded without physical contact. We will not have the dancers on stage during competition awards. Only one representative for each studio will be called on stage to receive each award. Studios will receive all physical awards at the end of the event. 

-For the safety of our staff and faculty, please avoid any physical contact during pictures and awards.
