ABOUT ARTISTIC DANCE EXCHANCHE
Artistic Dance Exchange is the only dance convention and competition in the US to offer INTERNATIONAL exchange scholarship programs. ADE is a platform for established, upcoming, and novice dancers to explore their artistic voices. ADE generates opportunities to exchange ideas, concepts, and visions in the evolving industry and dance and performing arts.
What makes ADE unique is that we are the ONLY convention and competition tour in the US that provides the opportunity to travel overseas and perform in international dance festivals. Our partner festival locations are in Spain, Italy, and Argentina.
Artistic Dance Exchange (ADE) faculty are among the elite on both the East and west coast. They are not only from the competition circuit, but also within the performance community, with credits including professional dance companies, TV Shows, International Pop Stars, and Broadway shows.
Some of ADE's current faculty members are Alex Wong, Ian Eastwood, Jill Marie, Ryan Ramirez, Gianna Martello, Kevin Frey, Omari Brown, Moises Parra, Geo Hubela, Matt Cady, and many more!
ADE believes that all young and upcoming dancers need to be exposed to all forms of dance and performance environments in order to let them experience a world that is far more intriguing than just the commercial competition world.
A Letter from Our Director:
When I started to create the concept for ARTISTIC DANCE EXCHANGE, I wanted to offer something special and unique from the regular competition circuit. We all understand the competitive side of dance, but dance is also an art form and a passion. I would like all dancers to have theatrical exposure, and to be awarded with exciting and real dance experiences that offer much more than just the dance competition world.
Our INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS are programs that are being recognized by the dance industry as innovative. The groups or individuals awarded will have the opportunity to experience various dance cultures! Dance companies and professionals that have made a name within the international dance community will welcome these American exchange dancers to perform in the participating country’s national dance festival – all expenses paid!
I believe that all young and upcoming dancers need to be exposed to all dance forms and environments, to allow them to experience a world that is far more intriguing than just the commercial competition world. I hope you enjoy our experience with Artistic Dance Exchange, and I look forward to seeing you on our elite stage!

Sincerely,
Juan Borona

When it comes to competitions and conventions, there are many opportunities for young dancers across the United States. The benefits of attending such an event are numerous: the chance to learn from your peers, work with word-class teachers and choreographers, hone your skills and celebrate your achievements.
Artistic Dance Exchange (ADE) offers all this with a twist – giving winning dancers the opportunity to travel overseas and perform in an international festival.
Dance Informa spoke to convention directors Alex Chan and Juan Borona about their unique event and what makes ADE so special.
